What you should know about indoor air.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that billions are spent annually to help Americans breathe and/or help treat respiratory illness. Eleven million Americans have asthma. Hay fever and allergy sufferers total 28 million. The medical community is proclaiming the solution to many of these problems is reducing the pollutants in the air we breathe.

Based on information presented at the First Annual Air Quality convention sponsored by EPA, April 1992, Tampa Florida:
  • 40% of all buildings pose a serious health hazard because of indoor air pollution.
  • 18% loss in productivity in United States due to poor indoor air quality.
  • 20% of all employees have a MAJOR illness related to indoor air pollution such as allergies, asthma, auto-immune diseases, etc.
  • High levels of formaldehyde cause cancer.
  • Scientists now recognize that pollutants, even at acceptable concentrations, combined together in an indoor environment, have a synergistic effect.
